MK2 Lotus Cortina
Road/Sprint/Rally car A
very clean & original "Lotus Cortina" . Has been lovingly restored
& lightly modified several years ago to a high standard to classic tour/rally
spec. 100% up together and runs/drives exceptionally well with current MOT and
"free" Historic vehcle road tax. Drive it away
! Finished in its traditional white
with green lotus flash, badges, re-chromed bumpers, polished Minilite wheels etc
. Fitted with a full SD roll cage with rear diagonal , strut brace and fire wall.
Full interior has been retained for comfort but could easily be removed should
anyone wish. Original dash , console , etc . Nick Stagg built Lotus Twin Cam engine
(140 bhp) complete with the bills to prove . Close ratio 2000E gear box , LSD
rear axle , Bilstein dampers , uprated brakes , Centre alloy fuel tank and elec.
fuel pump , Cobra bucket seats , and full harness belts , s/steel uprated exhaust
and much more. OVERVIEW This
car has been properly restored/maintained and it shows in the way it drives ,
handles & goes. The engine is as sweet as a nut and sounds fantastic, superb
oil pressure , not a puff of smoke anywhere and has lots of receipts to prove
its history. The bodyshell is also in superb order , floors , sills , inner wings
, A pillars all good condition. These cars are a true classic prices are sure
